Coaching is a professional partnership
that supports the achievement of
extraordinary results, based on goals
set by the individual. Coaching
accelerates the individual's progress by
providing greater focus and awareness
of possibilities leading to enhanced
performance. Christian Coaching adds
the spiritual dimension of Christian
faith to the coaching process. The
benefits of coaching include:
• New perspectives on challenges and
opportunities
• Enhanced thinking and decision
making skills
• Enhanced interpersonal effectiveness
and greater self-awareness
• Increased confidence in achieving
personal and professional goals
• Enhanced overall performance on
the job
Teams come in many different forms.
Teams may be staff members,
lay-leaders, a committee or council.
High functioning teams do not happen
by chance. They are built
purposefully to establish a climate of
mutual trust, respect and commitment
to a shared vision. In addition to
functional and project-based teams,
team development is beneficial for
church committees such as finance
committees, personnel councils,
capital campaign committees, and
search teams.
How often do we spend months, even
years trying to find the perfect person
to fill an important ministerial or
leadership role and once they arrive
we show them their office, shake their
hand and wish them luck. Typically
placed on assimilating a new leader.
The New Leader Assimilation is a
process that can help a manager,
minister, staff person and/or committee
chair more effectively assimilate into
an existing team, and accelerate
identification and resolution of issues,
opportunities and concerns.
Assessments provide insight and perspective that we often can’t see on our own. They help individuals gain a better understanding of
themselves and others which enhance self awareness, improve communication and
minimize conflict. Assessments can help individuals
and staff better understand the underlying causes of conflict and frustration. Assessments are valuable tools for individuals and teams
seeking to identify and fulfill the mission for which God created them. Assessments available through CareNet Professional Services
include:
• Change Style Indicator®
• Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior TM (FIRO-B®)
• Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI® Step I and Step II)
• SOCIAL STYLE™ Self and Multi-Rater Assessment
• Strength Deployment Inventory® (SDI)
• Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI)
