CareNet Counseling Opens New Satellite Site at Downtown Health Plaza

Vision and ministry have been realized by the new partnership of CareNet Counseling at the Downtown Health Plaza.  The Board of Directors’ of CareNet Counseling embraced the mission of providing counseling services at Downtown Health Plaza in 2006 and this proposal was enthusiastically embraced by Interim Director, Robert Jones of the Downtown Health Plaza.

The relationship of CareNet in the Downtown location answers the faith question of the Silent Samaritan Campaign, “Who is my neighbor?”  The funding for the project has involved many fund raising efforts and church contributions.  Our fund raising efforts have been a way of proclaiming what we believe and a way to offer other people an opportunity to participate with us in this life-giving, life saving ministry.

It is exciting and awe inspiring to witness the way God draws us together as we do a “new thing” through our collaboration and joint vision (see Isaiah 43:19).  I am thankful for the many who have been involved in this effort and continue to solicit your prayers and support in the days and weeks ahead as we work together in this hope-filled ministry.

“The Downtown Health Plaza is pleased to be
